Simple! A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, follows His teachings, and seeks to live according to the principles of love, faith, and salvation found in the Bible.
The ABC's of becoming a Christian is a simple, clear way to explain the steps of salvation:
A – Admit: Acknowledge that you are a sinner and in need of God's forgiveness.
B – Believe: Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son, that He died for your sins, and that He rose again to offer eternal life.
C – Confess: Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and invite Him into your life, committing to follow Him.
Say a quick prayer, something simple like 'Dear God, thank you for allowing me to have a relationship with You through Jesus. Please help me to further my relationship and strive to be a positive Christian example to others in my life. In Your name I pray, Amen'. Start that relationship and find others to share faith and get support!
THAT’S IT! You have established a personal relationship with God, and even though you may have ‘believed’ something before, you are now a part of the family! Be sure and let us and others know of your decision!
